Chang Tsi Partners is pleased to announce that partner Lilian Qiu has been named to the “50 Intellectual Property Lawyers Under the Age of 50” list, jointly released by IPR Daily and China Strategy Institute for Intellectual Property at the second Asia TOP IPR ceremony.
Lilian Qiu has practiced exclusively in the field of intellectual property since 2010 and holds a Master of Laws degree from China University of Political Science and Law. She leads a nearly 20-member IP team serving multinational clients with comprehensive, end-to-end IP solutions across China and the Asia-Pacific region. Her practice spans trademark prosecution and enforcement, copyright protection, domain name disputes, and unfair competition, with particular strengths in high-stakes litigation and complex cross-border matters.
Under Lilian’s leadership, the team has handled a number of landmark cases, including successful well-known trademark recognitions, reversals in retrial proceedings before the Supreme People’s Court, and infringement actions resulting in RMB 10 million in full damages awarded. The team also advises clients in innovation-driven and highly regulated industries such as AI technology, healthcare, and sports, while continuing to support clients in media, fashion, finance, and consumer goods.
In addition to her practice achievements, Lilian Qiu is widely recognized for her strategic approach to team management and integrated, multi-jurisdictional coordination. She has previously been recognized by Managing IP and World Trademark Review, and a recommended lawyer in dispute resolution by leading legal service guides.
The China U50 list aims to identify outstanding young IP practitioners and promote professional excellence within the industry. Lilian Qiu commented that this recognition is both an honor and a responsibility, and that she and her team will continue to strengthen their capabilities and deliver high-quality, strategic IP services to clients as the market and legal landscape evolve.
