The 2026 China IP & Innovation Summit was held in Shenzhen on August 20–21, bringing together government authorities, corporate IP leaders, legal professionals and other industry experts to discuss key issues shaping intellectual property protection and innovation. Chang Tsi & Partners participated in the Summit on August 21, with Shenzhen Office Head Michael Wu speaking at the Information & Communications Technology session and Shanghai Office Head Leslie Xu serving as moderator of the Trademark session.
This article introduces one of our representative cases where Chang Tsi & Partners represented a leading global provider of integrated retail performance and security solutions. Through collecting related evidence and filling a trademark infringement complaint to Shenzhen Longgang Administration of Market Regulation (AMR), we successfully secure the legal rights of our client with low cost.
Ms. Tracy Shen (Partner at Chang Tsi) and her team have conducted a thorough analysis on a trademark infringement case of a financial agency by driving a practical strategy and by combining with necessary administrative compliant measures to prove the infringing facts and urge its severity.
The aforementioned case is of positive significance for combating counterfeits, protecting the legal rights and interests of right holders, and maintaining market order. It has also strengthened our determination to help our clients to protect their rights and interests with the highest level of service and more precise customized IP protection solutions.
