Phoebe Xi is a Patent Counsel and the leader of the Bio-Chemistry Group at Chang Tsi & Partners. With a career in patent law that began in 2011, she has developed deep expertise in the field and has been an invaluable asset to our firm since 2014.
Phoebe’s experience spans a wide range of patent-related activities, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications, navigating challenges and defenses before the Patent Reexamination Board, representing clients in oral proceedings at the Invalidation Board, managing patent portfolios, and developing strategic patent filing plans.
Her professional expertise covers a broad array of industries, including bio-chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and chemical engineering. Phoebe excels in specialized fields such as clean energy, small molecule and macromolecular drugs, diagnostics, and food-related technologies, demonstrating her proficiency in these areas.
Prior to joining Chang Tsi, Phoebe gained valuable experience working for three years in the R&D department of one of China’s leading energy companies, further enriching her knowledge and understanding of the industry.
