With years of deep expertise in design patents, he spent nearly six years as a design patent examiner at the CNIPA. Holding both bachelor's and master's degrees in Industrial Design, he uniquely combines a legal perspective with design language, enabling highly efficient communication with domestic and international designers and an accurate grasp of design essentials.
Since joining Chang Tsi, he has served as an attorney in the Design Team, managing the full lifecycle of design patents. His practice covers patent application filing, responses to office actions, patent search reports and patent evaluation reports, portfolio strategy, as well as invalidation proceedings and administrative litigation.
His dual perspective as both a former senior examiner and a practicing attorney allows him to anticipate examination risks in advance, tailoring comprehensive and robust prosecution and enforcement strategies for clients.
