The timeline lengthens if an opinion notice is issued and requires a response, if the application is refused and a review of refusal is filed, or if an opposition is filed during publication. Opposition proceedings typically add anywhere from several months to more than a year.
China offers no general fast-track procedure for ordinary applicants. You can avoid unnecessary delays by searching before you file, clearing potential blocking marks, using CNIPA's standard descriptions for the goods and services, and responding to official notices on time.
