From 22 to 25 September 2026, the 40th MARQUES Annual Conference took place in Lisbon, Portugal, bringing together professionals from across the global brand protection community. Held under the theme “The Exciting Evolution of Trademarks,” this year’s conference explored how trademarks and brands are evolving as businesses adopt new technologies, engage with consumers in new ways and navigate increasingly complex regulatory environments.
Ms. Tracy Shen (Partner at Chang Tsi) and her team have conducted a thorough analysis on a trademark infringement case of a financial agency by driving a practical strategy and by combining with necessary administrative compliant measures to prove the infringing facts and urge its severity.
The aforementioned case is of positive significance for combating counterfeits, protecting the legal rights and interests of right holders, and maintaining market order. Our Patent Team of Chang Tsi & Partners organized a team-building event to celebrate the great achievement in 2019-2020. As Ms Chenyan Wu (Patent Partner) said, despite the global pandemic, the number of patent filings we handled by August 31, 2020 already surpassed the total number in 2019.
