From September 5 to 8, 2025, the 15th China International Trademark & Brand Festival was successfully held in Taiyuan, Shanxi. As the most influential event in China’s trademark sector, this year’s festival gathered representatives from trademark authorities, judicial bodies, well-known enterprises, intellectual property service agencies, and experts worldwide. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the development of trademark brands.

On December 13, 2023, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) and the Innovation, Technology, and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR (ITIBHK) jointly announced the Implementation Guidelines for the Standard Contract for Cross-Border Flow of Personal Information within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This guideline is a follow-up to the June Memorandum of Cooperation and aims to streamline and clarify regulations for cross-border personal data flow.
